Walk along the Morris Island shoreline to observe and learn about Horseshoe Crabs coming in to spawn.  Hillary and Eddie will discuss the life cycle, history, behavior and the Horseshoe Crabs' contributions to medical science as well as the local fishing industry.

About the event

Walk along the Monomoy shoreline to observe and learn about Horseshoe Crabs coming in to spawn. Hillary and Eddie will discuss the life cycle, history, behavior and the Horseshoe Crabs' contributions to medical science as well as the local fishing industry - highlighting why we should protect and conserve them.


Hillary, a retired Biology professor has volunteered extensively with the horseshoe crab surveys, tagging with State Dept of Fish and Wildlife.


Eddie is a retired lawyer; longtime Chatham fisherman and volunteer with the Brewster Natural History Museum.
