About the event
"No Refuge: Cape Cod's Coastal Crisis" is a 30-minute documentary examining the accelerating coastal erosion and sea-level rise threatening Cape Cod's shoreline. The film documents how climate change is actively reshaping the region's beaches, marshes, and communities.
The documentary presents factual documentation of environmental degradation along Cape Cod's coast, featuring segments on the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge. It addresses the tangible impacts of climate-driven erosion on both natural ecosystems and human settlements in the area.
There will be a panel discussion with Tim Wood of the Cape Cod Chronicle and Eddie Horowitz of the Friends of Monomoy Wildlife Refuge.
Tickets are available at the Orpheum Theater in Chatham.
